Custom made 14'5" outboard skiff designed by William and John Atkin. We are now taking orders for Spring 2013 delivery.
These classic outboard boats are constructed using marine plywood for the hull planking and your choice of wood for the sheer planks, seats and trim. Mahogany is shown in these photos but white oak, teak or any other marine stable wood can be incorporated. Forest green and black hulls are shown here but of course hull color is at the owners discretion.
These are nice stable boats perfect for fishing, birdwatching or just playing about. The hull is designed for low power so a small 9 hp motor is plenty for it to get up on plane--it also performs well with one of the higher power Torqueedo electric outboards. The boat rows very nicely as it has a small tracking skeg near the transom and a full length keel. A proven design by a highly respected designer, this boat will provide generations of fun.

Shipping informationDelivery by a Budsin represenative is available for a rate of $1.60 per mile one way from zip 28553. Boats can also be picked up by the customer. If we can combine shipping with another boat we can possibly lower the delivery cost. Commercial carrier is also an option with these boats.
