It has a polished black surface highlighted by the many specs of iron, much like a starry desert sky. It is flanked by two … pieces of Gibeon meteorite meteorite which has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites.
