My experience working with Michelle has been excellent. From the first time I had communicated with her via Custom Made, she has always made herself available via e-mail or telephone to provide guidance on everything from gem selection, to choices in metal and design. I've never felt pressured from her, and quite to the contrary, Michelle will not try and sell you a stone you cannot afford, or insist on clarities or colors, etc that might not matter to the average consumer. I gave Michelle a realistic budget to work within, and she did her best to observe that parameter. Michelle was able to work with me using an (admittedly) crude drawing I'd sent her to make several beautiful concepts with CAD, making fine adjustments here and there (some of these other jewelers will try and charge you for a CAD when you're still not even sure that they are the right person for your project!). When we had the concept precisiely the way I wanted it, she, being an accomplished gemologist, helped me determine what qualities of a diamond mattered most to me and offered a wide array of stones from multiple sources. When I decided on a stone, she overnighted it to me for my approval, then I sent it off to the jewelers so that the ring could be cast and the stone could be set. When the ring was finished, I was sent a photo of it and it looked great. It was then sent back to Michelle who had a master jeweler engrave it and even enhanced the yellow gold vines around the shank of the ring. When I at last received it about a week ago I was totally awestruck! It was the actual ring I had dreamed up in my mind a half year ago! When I presented it to my sweetheart and asked her to marry me, I could have just put it on her finger and looked at her expectantly; the ring could speak for itself! It is just an absolutely stunning piece of jewelry! It should be noted that this particular design is not your conventional ring. It has two types of metal, minute detail, and intricate engravings. It had to pass through several hands to get this ring perfect. I can say without equivocation that if you have an ambitious design for a custom piece of jewelry and you want it done right, Michelle is the gal to see. The quality is top notch, she will work in your budget, and her level of customer service is superb. You will not be disappointed.
