To say that Margaret & I have enjoyed Adagio on Lake Lure NC is a gross understatement. This craft is everything we expected and more. The design is flawless and the craftsmanship unbelievably fine in all respects. This is a work of art. We, and many, many others, just enjoy looking at her! And it gets so much better as you quietly move out of the boathouse and begin to cruise the lake. The creature comforts surround us, the boat handles flawlessly and, as she cuts through the water, you hear the sounds of water rather than the sounds of engine. A classic in all respects.
19' Electric Launch. These boats were origionally designed for commercial use as a water taxi with the captain seated up front, but with a modified cockpit layout (drawing on last photo of slide show) they woud be great for any type of quiet cruising. The boats seat 6-8 adults and have a top speed of 7 mph with a running time of 7-10 hours before recharging is needed.
The hull incorporates a unique boxed keel which houses the batteries, keeping their weight low in the boat and making for a very stabile ride for a boat this size.
Unlike our other boats, the Piglet incorportes a fiberglass hull with either fiberglass or optional mahogany decks (shown here). All boats have exquisitely finished mahogany and teak interiors.
Typical lead time for dleivery is 10-12 months.
