Perhaps the most challenging speculation piece I have made, this chair required a combination of advanced techniques to bring its lively design to life, while at the same time not compromising comfort. The design conveys movement, counter to the usual static nature of chairs. Built entirely from solid mahogany, the chair uses large through tenon joints for maximum strength at the main leg and back joints, and housed mortise and tenons for the remaining joints.
