My bench is my second (even third) pair of hands. I designed it carefully, borrowing heavily from tradition, as well as utilizing modern day technology. I wanted this baby to be a monster - an extra-large surface, and more than 700 pounds for stability. I built it from solid rock maple and walnut. 15 drawers provide ample storage for hand tools. This thing should last many lifetimes!
