  • Hi Angela! I started on your wallet today. I measured and cut out the cowhide leather and the lining leather. I use a supersoft pigskin for the lining. I then drew the designs on all 3 panels. I then take a knife and carve the design in the leather. In the morning I'll tool the designs. I take a beveling tool and hammer and go around the cut. It raises the design up from the leather. So more updates tomorrow. Have a great night! Kerry carving

  • Angela, Thanks for your kind words! I used my beveling tool and went around the carvings. Since I choose this font I have to go back and carve outlining of the letters. A lot of my military clients like this font. They tell me it's "manly", LOL. So now I'm going to dye it and when it dries I'll start sewing it all together. More later! outlining letters

  • Angela, I've sewn the picture ID, onto it's pocket, on the left panel interior. I then sewed the 3 cc slots on middle panel interior. Then sewed the 2 cc slots on the right panel. Lastly I sewed all 3 panels on the bill slot. Now I only have to sew the interior to the cover. I'll finish tomorrow and send final pictures then. Have a great night! Kerry right panel interior
