This piece grew organically in the most wonderful of ways. It began as a single pink lucite flower. Inspiration arose from a vintage costume necklace of mine reminiscent of Miriam Haskell. Serendipitously, I found I had the lucite leaves and smaller purple flowers to match the focal piece. Rose … quartz was the obvious choice to match the flower and to express the romantic nature of the piece. Then I just had to throw in some freshwater pearls and swarovski crystals for luster and brilliance. The rose quartz is strung knotted on light green nylon and the centerpiece is wire wrapped.
