In my travels I have come across some incredibly talented woodworkers, craftspeople and artisans who are unable to focus on their craft because they are running a business. Their dedication to their art is compromised by their need to divert attention to the marketing, advertising and sales of their creations. I wanted to assist these people and created CustomMade.com to help with this issue. We at CustomMade have created a community of Woodworkers of all specialties as well as a support system to help them further their craft and reach out to prospective buyers. Members of our community are invited to post some of their finest work while we make sure that the greatest amount of people are able to see it.
In my travels, I have also come across many people who have grown weary of purchasing furniture and other items through tired and traditional means. Retail is more ubiquitous and homogenous then ever and the current model of buying poor-quality items from big-box stores is unsustainable.
