This is a exact reproduction of a Philadelphia Chest on chest originally build by famed Philadelphia furniture maker Thomas Affleck, which is now housed in the Metropolitan museum of Art in New York. It is built just as the original with hand cut dovetailed cut case construction and hand cut … dovetailed drawers. The crotch drawer front veneers were cut in house and meticulously matched, the drawers are finished off with pulls cast from originals. All of the carving was done by hand.
