Elliptical Conference Table
CustomMade by Randy Weersing
This conference table was created for a large construction firm in Alaska. It could also serve nicely as a dining table. The customer wanted a strong, simple design featuring indigenous species and decided on figured red birch. The perfect ellipse is bordered by black ebonized birch, with base to … match. The beautifully figured veneers were custom cut and applied in matched quadrants to a honycomb composite core using vacuum bagging techniques. This form of construction proves superior to solid wood in several ways. It is more stable....impervious to warping and seasonal shrinkage. It is both lighter in weight and more rigid, and it is easier on our precious timber resources. It is lighter and more economical to ship.

Randy is a skilled craftsman and innovative designer. We brought Randy old growth wood we found in a mill pond on our property. From there he designed a built a table that fits in perfectly with our office and taste. Our conference table is the focal point of our office. Office Furniture and Kind Size Bed
by Vera Nov 28th 2012
Randy made several custom pieces for me to fit a craftsman house. He took my rough ideas of what I needed, and some pretty specific size needs and made pieces that are works of art. His work is meticulous, he matched panels so that the patterns are symetrical, and above all, he LISTENED when I described what I needed. I needed to have a set of built-ins for the office in the home that would keep with the high-end character of the construction, yet still provide the huge amounts of storage that I needed. He made that office beautiful. When we sold the home, the new buyers made the sale contingent on keeping the bed Randy made for me. Before I moved across country I commissioned another bed to replace it. Randy's work is worth waiting for.
