Designed for a client that needed to adapt their home for wheel chare accessibility, the plan was to maximize the space and keep everything within reach of the chair. In addition the client requested a large area for long hanging garments within easy reach and plenty of storage for shoes. Instead … of leaving empty space under the hanging clothing to pull the chair in, I used heavy duty pantry hardware to make it easy to pull the hanging rod out and over the chair, leaving room below for large drawers for shoes. It's particularly nice to work on a project that has a real impact on the quality of life of a client.
