Local pine tree gets another 100+ years of life. Having access to a sawmill allows me to choose the figure and grain and book match pieces if I want to. This table top was created out of a single piece of pine slab - 10' long - cut in half and joined together with 3 different size butterfly joints. The live edges are kept on all 4 sides to give a visual effect.
