An adaptation of a design by Eliel Saarinen ( prolific art deco designer). This chair is solid Air dried Walnut harvested from the Loyola University Campus.The hand laid Mahogany and Birdseye maple parquetry design really makes the chair pop and contrasts beautifully with the walnut as well as the fully upholstered chocolate leather interior. The Art Deco movement was all about luxury and this piece is no exception.
