These clients saw our marquetry mantlepieces, and were inspired to request an unusual new bed. They wanted carvings of flowers and small animals tucked into corners of the design to amuse their grandchildren, and reflect their woodland environment. The basic woods are curly cherry and black walnut, with a whole range of exotic wood species in the hand-carved marquetry.
