About this item
Price not specified
This is one of a pair of art nouveau doors designed and built for a house on the Gulf of Mexico. This door was inspired by Victor Horta, one of the premier designers of the period art nouveau style. The double doors are made of mahogany, with etched and sandblasted glass in the fixed window panels on the sides. The doors frame and transition the interior art nouveau room to the tropical landscape and gardens outside. Other views of these doors and room are visible on my website.
