Simple, structural and dramatic describe this bench, which is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement. It is a highly functional furniture piece with a sculptural presence. It is constructed of hardwood planks, from locally harvested trees whenever possible, with concealed hardware and a durable hand rubbed polyurethane finish. The legs are joined to the support member using a tusk through the tenon.

Benches are available as custom orders. You are welcome to select your wood species from available stock, request another species or have your bench created out of stock you own. Currently available species are quartersawn cherry, white oak and walnut. Cherry with walnut detail is pictured.
