When I made this table, I made a second out of soft curly maple with a rift green slate top. That one has a home, this one is still looking. This table is all ash, even the drawer bottom.
These tables allowed me to use a longer version of the candle-pin leg. The smiling drawer pull was new to this piece. mortised drawer pulls are the way to go.
