The cylinder fall slides open to reveal pigeon holes and small drawers surrounding a central compartment. The writing slide pulls forward for ease of use. Two large drawers beneath the … writing surface provide storage. The bookcase has adjustable shelves and features doors with restoration glass held by arched muntins. The inlaid cornice is surmounted by a hand-carved eagle.
