This dining room set features a unique bentwood table base. This process involves glueing up laminated layers into a form and placing in an airbag system for 24-48 hours. There are several glueups till it reaches the final dimensions for both sides. It is then placed on a base and the top is layed … on it, making it look like it is balancing. The chairs are hand shaped with a curve to match in with the table and a chocolate fabric was used for the seat and the front and back. The large 7ft tall by 8ft wide hutch has a curved design, featuring bent wood (done in much of the same way as the table) and specially made curved glass. The face of the hutches have burl doors for added beauty. The corner hutch also features bent wood and curved glass and was made to fit perfectly in the corner. This set was made from old growth black walnut and the top of the table shows that incredible beauty. The picture with just the table (showing off the base more) was also made from black walnut w/african purpleheart breadboard ends. This design can be made from most woods and is sure to be the focal point of any home.
