This stand-up solid Black Walnut desk was designed and created for a customer in New York who has back issues. Being able to stand while working was a necessity. The foot rest across the bottom slides back and forth so as to adjust to the customers stance. The compartment was left open at the customer's request for ease of retrieval of papers while working. The solid Maple legs are trimmed with Purple Heart. The top surface has a hand rubbed hard finish, the legs have an oil finish.
