This beautiful 8"x10" quilled Blue Heron is triple matted and framed under glass in a brown wood frame. I have also shown photos of my Heron Fishing, Heron in Flight, and Heron Turned.

Quilling is the art of rolling narrow strips of paper and shaping the rolls to use for designs. Quilling my way … is my original technique of adding a cut out over the quilling as the design and using the rolls of paper for the details.

A little more information about my work -- I do everything from the beginning to the end of each and every piece...Just Me. I start with the design work, the cutting of the overlay with an exacto knife, the rolling of the quilling paper, by hand, the glueing, the cutting of the mats, the cutting of the glass, the putting-it-all-together in the frame under glass, the photographing and all the website work.
