This contemporary 'partners desk', designed by Robert Hillier and built by Birdie Miller Designs, is made of select, quartered & figured English sycamore.
The top is leather, set even with the top wood frame.
The supporting brace under the desk is custom fabricated stainless steel. Unseen, in the
… bottom of the drawer cabinet is 400 lbs of counter weights to balance this dynamic design.

The cabinet fits just perfect. All the little "cut out" details make a huge difference. Everything is so neat and tidy, no plugs or cables showing. We bolted it to the wall right away. It's really great looking, a naturally beautiful & unique piece we will always enjoy. It's so sturdy too. Keep up the good and creative work. Thanks for creating such a cool piece.
