I carved this Celtic hair stick from a block of rare Irish Bog Oak - 5000 to 7000 year old wood that was recovered from a peat bog. The shape is a screw, you actually screw it into and out of your hair - stays put! This is tricky wood to work with and the shape
… takes quite a bit of time to hand work.
The Four Leaf Clover ornament at the top is crafted from genuine Emerald beads - woven with steel wire and glass beads into this lucky Shamrock. The perfect accent for a hair stick made from ancient Irish wood.
This piece is almost 6 inches in length, the wood working portion is 5 inches.
