The first in the "fractured table" series, this square concrete table top demonstrates the great experiment in the uncontrolled cracking of concrete. The center features random fracturing and is bordered by 2" of darker concrete. When the curing process is complete some grouting is selectively … applied, the remainder of the cracks are left exposed. The table is then polished with a diamond grinder and sealed and waxed by hand. The concrete rests on a stainless steel base with an industrial finish. This unique joining of concrete and steel is unparalleled.
