We love Arts & Crafts at Black & Sons! One of our first big purchases of lumber was two trees worth of what the seller described as Burly Cherry. What a purchase it was! The whole lot was peppered with burls, some as big as baseballs, many smaller, but all with the heavy fish-egg texture that was hard to describe. We were able to make lots of pieces, and this table was one. A bit of a take-off on Greene & Greene and Stickley, with a touch of Limbert, it adorned my own home for a bit. Now it decorates our office, continuing to acquire the deep red warmth of aged Cherry.
