The main item that I make is a sculpted rocking chair.
My formal education was a BS in Physics and a MA in Clinical Psychology. My woodworking skills are mostly self taught. Having worked for years as a carpenter, I was always drawn to unusual types of joinery. My current work seems to be a continuation of this tendency. I am very interested in the designs, myths and motifs of other cultures and how they reflect the civilization from which they came. One of the challenges I enjoy the most is finding structural solutions to new designs.
