We specialize in naturalistic themes such as landscapes, trees, plants and animals. We also make decorative and stylish house number tiles to go with your home's color scheme. In addition, our tile studio can do custom design work and unique tile projects suited for use in installations around the fireplace, bath, shower, sink or stove.

Each tile is carved, stamped, or hand-pressed in a plaster mold; glazes are likewise hand-applied, making every piece a unique work of art. The tiles are durable stoneware and resistant to extremes of heat, cold, freezing and thawing. They are suitable for use indoors or out.

Many of our glazes are mixed in our studio, including some colors unique to Ravenstone Tiles. Most of the glazes have a traditional matte to satin surface quality, with subdued colors that enhance the relief carving.

We do not keep tiles in all colors and designs in stock. Instead, everything is custom made. We take your order, make the tile, and glaze them in colors of your choice. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to fill most orders; somewhat longer for larger and/or custom projects.
