About Vancouver WoodSmith
Vancouver WoodSmith is a small custom woodworking shop, creating handcrafted projects to your specifications. From custom game boards and tables, such as cribbage, chess, backgammon, and scrabble, to armoires and dining sets, side tables, bookshelve…s, desks and specialty cabinets, I love to create a solution to suit your needs. In addition, I am building out an inventory of “ready-made” items – cribbage boards, jewelry cases and boxes that can ship in a couple of days.
If you are within 100 miles or so of my shop, here in Vancouver, WA, I also can create custom cabinetry and large entertainment consoles/cabinets to fit your room – for about the same price as pre-built cabinets, but with a better fit and much better materials, like veneer plywood or solid core, instead of pressboard.
The process of co-creating a custom solution for you is quite simple. You have some idea of what you’re trying to accomplish, so contact me and we can discuss it. Then I’ll create some drawings (e.g. game table on this site), and iterate with you until we have it matching your vision. We’ll negotiate a fair price and when you’re satisfied, I’ll get to work. When it is done, I’ll ship it to you to enjoy for years to come.
