I began drawing with chalk on sidewalks, making coloring books and building toothpick structures when I was a little girl. Today I am a designer and creator of jewelry. I feel honored that my God given talents and creative spirit give joy to others.
My jewelry is more than wearable art. It is my way of sharing my creative passion to enrich the lives of others. My original designs are fashionable and varied. As a contemporary jewelry designer, I utilize a variety of colors, textures, and styles. Materials are as varied as the people who choose them. They range from shells, buttons, and pottery to gem stones, crystals, metal, and other miscellaneous beads. Most pieces are crocheted using a variety of wire, thread or other material. Each loop and twist of the artistic wire, along with interesting bead combinations present uniquely designed pieces.
I always wished I could personalize my jewelry line in another unusual way. The thought of making my own beads and pendants was exciting. This past year I was fortunate enough to acquire an old, small kiln. Once I started playing with the clay, I became “hooked”. I thoroughly enjoy expressing my ideas and feelings in clay. I hope it will be enjoyed by others as well.

In my free time I enjoy drawing and painting using a variety of medium. I am also an avid flower gardener which lends subjects for my art work.
