Shipping Delivery Specifications.
Shipping:
All items will be shipped via ground service (UPS or Fedex) or the best method available. It is possible that you may receive your item via different individuals and different times. All items are deliverable to the first floor, only. Medium sized items will be crated and shipped by a common carrier. Large items can be delivered via a “blanket wrap service” which usually provide a two man moving service, usually to the first floor only. I have yet to encounter delivery damages, however, before acceptance, immediately check the delivered item. If the item is damaged, it is your privilege to not accept delivery. If you accept the delivery and the delivery man departs they will consider the item accepted and undamaged. If your do find damage after the delivery person has departed, contact the shipping company and then B.Ks. Wood Shop. If I must rent a Van for any delivery, the cost of Van rental would be an added delivery expense, plus $25.00.

Pickups:
You have the option to pick up your item at any time after completion. However, it is necessary to call first to make sure that someone is in attendance. A call 24 hours in advance is preferred.

Local deliveries:
I will make every effort to personally deliver any item, if it will fit within the confines of my automobile, within 30 miles of my shop in Bath, PA.
Please note that any delivery charges are due prior to delivery and determined by location, the size of the delivery and the number of persons required. Any delivery will be made during the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 (6pm) Monday to Saturday. Sunday delivery can be arranged although at additional charge. We are not a delivery company and any delivery will be made only to the first floor and require that B.Ks Wood Shop will not be responsible for any damages incurred by furniture being moved into the house. This delivery does not include moving furniture or making existing electrical connections or devices.
NOTE: All deliveries to New York, if by car, will have a charge of $55.00. If by truck, a minimum charge of $125.00 will apply.

Dimensions/Photos/Hardware/Stains or colors:
I can provide two dimensional scaled line drawings of the intended furniture to assist in furniture placement in the home. All pieces are hand made so any specific dimension may vary slightly from the drawings. Any additional measurements necessary can be supplied upon request.

Staining/Finishing:
Shown,or suggested, samples may differ in the finished item due to slight nuances in the manufacture of the stain, also, the difference of the wood grain and color, variances from the desired color may differ slightly. An “Exact” color match, in many cases may not be possible. However, I will make every effort to match the submitted colors or stains as closely as possible on my manufactured items.
