I commissioned Mike to make me a Bubinga and Wenge coffee table for my living room and it turned out exceptionally! He had some of the most beautiful waterfall-figured bubinga lumber already in his shop, and we ended up using that. Mike is an expert... when it comes to working with exotics, which is why I chose him. i wouldn't hesitate to use him again! Here is the table on CustomMade! http://custommade.com/bubinga-and-wenge-coffee-table/by/chesapeakecabinet

We commissioned Mike Huber to make a kingsize headboard to match our existing furniture. We had searched commercial outlets and could not find anything close to our needs. Mike came to our house to view the existing furniture and produced a headboar...d that matched beautifully. His craftsmanship is exquisite and he also has a great artistic ability. My wife and I could not be happier.

Michael is an incredible craftsman who has an amazing eye for detail. He designed and built the custom bar in my "man cave" and my wife and I could not be more pleased with his work. Michael is trustworthy and honest. We have thoroughly enjoyed wo...rking with him.

Mike has made several pieces of furniture for our home including a toy chest for our kids, a stand alone butcher block table made of purple heart and ash, a Windsor fan back chair and many others. He has always surpassed our expectations. Mike has ...an incredible eye for detail, is very committed to his customers, and takes pride in his work. We would highly recommend him without reservation and will continue to hire him again and again!! Susan Power

"I was introduced to Mike by my kitchen designer, who knew that I wanted a hand-crafted mahogany island counter top. We went to Mike's shop to choose the desired edge. He had samples for me to see and I was satisfied that he understood the "look" t...hat I wanted. A week or so later I received an email from him that he was moving some things around in his shop and found a solid piece of sapele lumber that would be perfect for my kitchen and invited me over to see it. I went to his shop and after he patiently fielded several of my questions, I agreed that it would be perfect, and it is. At the same time that I was renovating my kitchen I was also having hardwood floors installed on two levels of my home. Unfortunately, the bulnose delivered and meant to "coordinate" with the floor was really a very different color than the floor planks, and it turned out that the company did not make treads to match the flooring. I called on Mike to see if he could help and he did - he ordered replacement treads in sapele as well as railings and post and then hand crafted all the bulnose necessary to finish the job. He stained and finished all the pieces to match my floor beautifully. I don't know what I would have done if Mike had not delivered what he had promised - he gave my floor the same care and attention that he gives to all his jobs. My flooring may not have been as interesting to work on as the gracefully carved grandfather clock in Mike's shop but he gave it the same care and attention because it was important to me. I now have the gorgeous mahogany floor that I envisioned. Mike is now located in a spacious new shop in the Annapolis design district. I highly recommend him as a cabinet maker who is passionate about his craft."
