I enjoy creating pieces of furniture from Mother Nature for others to enjoy. I would like to share with you my story of how I got started making grandfather clocks. Over the years I built kitchen cabinets, case goods and outdoor furniture, but I always wanted to build a grandfather clock to keep in the family and that could be passed down for generations.
It all started one day at an estate sale, there was an antique Seth Thomas grandfather clock, etched inside of the clock was a poem about time. After reading the poem and thinking about how true the words were, I decided that it was my time to build that grandfather clock.
The idea of my first clock came from the stories of “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Cat in the Hat” that I read to my daughter when she was a toddler. I wanted to create something whimsical and different and something that would be a real conversation piece. I came up with a curved clock with a slight twist in the body with a carved bowtie, all made of various colored hardwoods with a hand rubbed finish. We named the clock Oops! That was 11 years ago and we still enjoy the clock today. I have made several variations of it since then.
The poem was the inspiration that got me started in clock making. I now pass this poem along with every clock that I make in hopes that others will be inspired to do the things that they have always wanted to do but never seem to find the time...before time runs out.

Life is too short, but I like the idea that my work will be passed on for other generations to enjoy. I design and handcraft heirloom Grandfather and Grandmother Clocks as well as wall, mantel and desk clocks. Each of my clocks are handcrafted one at a time, no two are alike.
I also have a unique designer line of outdoor furniture. All of my clocks and outdoor furniture designs are original and unique. Each clock and outdoor piece is made of solid hardwood and can be purchased in designer colors and finishes. Any clock can be made with your choice of woods and finishes. I will also work with your ideas to design and craft a unique clock of the highest quality that can be passed down for generations.
