He began working with glass in 1999, inspired by the medium’s transparent and reflective qualities.

His current work combines glass making with expertise from the past. For example, his knowledge of ceramics allows him to create clay forms to slump unusual shapes in glass. The emphasis of his work is on exploring new methods and ideas resulting in pieces that are fresh and always one of a kind.
