My goal as a designer and craftsman is to create furniture of lasting beauty and enduring function. I work both directly for clients and with the design trade
Each project is different, but they all start with communication with the client or designer.
I have enjoyed working in many specialty areas in furniture including: residential, corporate and government offices, liturgical, universities, and custom pool tables.
I particularly enjoy the sculptural and decorative qualities in working with wood. Will the piece have weight or lightness of line? Curve organically or have geometric proportion? I have used patterns and inlays in veneer and repetitive cuts in solid wood to provide decorative accents. I design one-off pieces and offer a line of furniture and accessories.
