Also I will do stock removal type knives on request. I specialize in Bowies, Daggers, Bird & Trout, Drop point hunter knives and I've started making some Folding knives.

18th Century Quill knife reproduction

John's work is exemplary - working from nothing but photos, he was able to reproduce my antique quill knife almost exactly. The first quill cut with the knife was perfect, showing just how well he was able to recreate the delicate blade, without ever personally seeing it. I couldn't be more pleased - this is my first custom made knife, and John not only allayed my concerns about the work arrangement - he has given me the confidence to have other antique pieces reproduced through Custom Made. I cannot speak highly enough about John Davis's work.
