I have worked with wood most of my life but using a lathe started over 3yrs. ago, when we moved from Alaska to Montana. I make Bowls, Vases, Platters, Rolling Pins,etc. by using all types of wood, whether they are solid or layered and in many different colors. No two pieces are alike. The only way that I can make a custom piece is by the use of you choice of wood.
