Wheel work and heavy altering result in a highly sculptural, functional treasure. I make anything from figurative mugs and salt and pepper shakers to perfect owl cups and mugs with tons of expression. Not two items are ever exactly alike as I do everything from beginning to end entirely by hand.
I'm also an art teacher and have discovered while working with my students an amazing form of paper mache that is strong and durable and it's uses are endless from masks to puppets to large sculptural pieces. Ask me - I'm sure I can suit your needs in either clay or paper mache!
