Our pieces range in style from Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Asian inspired, Queen Anne, to Mission, and we specialize in unique nature inspired marquetry. Our custom homebuilding experience, also allows up to do larger built-in pieces, kitchen and bathroom and custom cabinetry installations. Professionally trained by master furniture maker Phillip Lowe, at the Furniture Institute of MA, John is a master craftsman of both traditional and modern techniques and styles. Lindsey brings her background in art and architectural history (Brown University), as well as the couples' extensive world travel experiences to her designs. With their shared experience as furniture makers/designers, home builders/designers/remodellers, and interior and landscape designers, Lindsey and John are able to adeptly assess the needs and desires of their clients, and design and build the most useful and simultaneously beautiful pieces, that seemlessly fit into their clients home and business environments. With a background from the University of Vermont in Environmental Biology, John is acutely aware of the materials he uses, where they are sourced from, and the larger impact their use has upon the local and world environments. He and Lindsey try to use local hardwoods whenever possible, and to use finishes that are naturally sourced .
