As a studio
jeweler, I work with individuals to design and make pieces suited just for them. I use recycled precious metals including gold, platinum and silver. I often work with customers' old jewelry and stones, bringing new life to valuable assets that may otherwise lay unseen in a drawer.
My designs are often inspired by water. You'll see flowing lines, textured surfaces, tiny drops and ripples – the straightest of lines still have a touch of movement to them. I honor balance without symmetry. While my clients’ desires are paramount, my design choices are guided by this organic aesthetic.
Choosing to adorn ourselves, we have the opportunity to express who we are, where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. Whether the intention is for outward expression or for intimate meaning known only to the wearer, it’s this emotional bond between jewelry and wearer that informs every piece I create.
It’s a pleasure and an honor to work closely with an individual, designing and making pieces of personal expression her or him. I absolutely delight in watching a new piece unfold in this collaborative process.
