About Mountain View Woodworks LLC
In 2009, after years of completing woodworking projects for family, friends, and word-of-mouth referrals, Mountain View Woodworks, LLC was officially formed by Alex Adelsberger as the Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. Pro Furniture Builder partner.
MVW…’s mission is to create beautiful and functional heirloom-quality furniture from hand selected prime hardwoods in a timely, cost-effective manner utilizing a mix of modern and traditional woodworking joinery, techniques, and tools to the exact design specifications determined through a collaborative effort between craftsman and customer. At MVW, our customers’ satisfaction is our number one priority.
In addition to those products offered through the Pro Furniture Builder program presented on our website, MVW welcomes requests for any and all furniture and furniture accessory items including curio cabinets, dining/sofa/side tables, complete bedroom suites, toy/blanket chests, bookshelves, and many others.
Have a particular wood species, hardware choice, or finish that you would like utilized on your custom piece, but don’t see it listed here? MVW welcomes requests for alternate woods, hardware types and finishes, as well as finishing techniques and materials. Please contact us for more details.
Have a need for non-furniture wood components such as custom pallets, packaging crates, or wood blocking/bracing? MVW offers these types of products, too! Please contact us for more details.

Service areaThe primary geographic areas that Mountain View Woodworks services are Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, but we are also willing and able to produce and ship pieces nationwide.

ShippingAt Mountain View Woodworks we utilize numerous shipping companies and services to ensure the most cost effective way of quickly and safely getting your pieces from our shop to your home. We do not profit from shipping costs so you will always pay actual shipping costs.
In many cases, Mountain View Woodworks is able to personally deliver our customers' pieces to their final destination if geographically within reason and if doing so would save our customers money.

InstallationMinor installation of the items Mountain View Woodworks sells is available on a case by case basis. If this is a service that you need, please ask and we'll try to accomodate you as best we can.
