We did not have … Read more In my younger years I was raised up in the country and learned from my father the machine shop trade. In those early years I learned the importance of detail and accuracy required to complete a concept from scratch. Also being on a fruit farm in Michigan I learned the value of long hours and hard work. We did not have the best equipment and I became and artist in the use of bailing wire and how to improvise. I went to Iowa State University Ames and earned my BS in Agricultural Engineering Power and Machinery. With a fresh degree I proceeded to the corp. world for the next 18 years as a Mechanical engineer manager and enjoyed the creativity and management of multiple projects to completion.

Pineridge Woodworking was started in 2001. Our primary market at the time was residential home custom cabinetry. Our goal was to provide the booming housing market with quality custom cabinets that would compete with factory made outlets. Our service provided detailed renderings and the freedom not to be restricted to any one catalog. As always in this market reinventing yourself is important. Take a look at our new product called Mood Panels, it may spark some new creativity that you may have for your home or office (see project Mood Panels and video). Pineridge as also been actively involved in renovating old churches (see project St Peter and Paul). We have started another church project St Mary’s. I will be posting as we proceed. Our capabilities are also growing with our investment into our new CNC router. This will allow custom carvings and extra detail that can be incorporated into any project.
