cabinetry and furnishings in the Arts & Crafts tradition. From tables and chairs to cabinetry and architectural woodwork, I work with you to achieve pieces that both maker and client can be proud of. Whether an original design or a copy of an Arts and Crafts classic, the pieces that leave my shop have that extra edge that speaks of handmade durability and beauty.
My journey into fine woodworking began nearly 20 years ago as I moved steadily away from rough framing into finish carpentry and architectural woodwork, and then finally into furniture design and construction. The highlights of my journey have been the publishing in House Beautiful magazine of a house in Colorado, for which I did the interior woodwork, and my nine months in the world renowned school of fine woodworking at the College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg, California.
Column Sconces- Q

Rob was a pleasure to work with. We spoke on the phone regarding my drawings and then he took the initiative to send me a full size scale version of it so I can take to job site. This was extremely helpful! I sent him links of the different parts I wanted to use on the sconces and he followed through and ordered them. I needed the sconces to be UL listed for the restaurant and he researched what parts were going to be required and made sure he built them as such. A true professional. Whenever he would have an idea he would pass it my way to see if I wanted to add the details to the sconces and each time I did- they turned out beautiful! -Susie Schuster . Brown Design Group-
