Rick Hensley's work is phenomenal!! We started the process with designs that I described and he translated into sketches. A couple of revisions later and we were ready to go with the project. Rick was easy to contact and in synch with what I was looking for which made the design process a breeze. Then Rick started building the bookshelves and always provided weekly pictures, which was great so I could see the progress. Also, i did not ask for this, but he made the desktop from antique maple wood from 100+year old tree on the back of his property. It is so unique and gorgeous, I am thrilled he took that initiative and allowed it to become part of my home. Once complete, we scheduled a good weekend, and he brought the completed bookshelves and desk to my house and installed them with his brother's help. I cannot say enough good things about our first experience with CustomMade and, more importantly, with RockyTop WoodWorks. From our first contact with RockyTop, Rick was great to work with. In addition to taking care and listening to what we wanted, he took the time to ask the right questions so we'd also get what we needed. We worked very closely with him on the design and features of our bookwall and he gave us exactly what we'd always wanted - a beautiful place to store our books. The final result is really a beautiful piece of art, just gorgeous to look at and exactly what we'd hoped for. Rick was professional and prompt with all our communications - he kept us informed as his progress moved towards completion with both pictures and video.
