I started making soap because of a skin condition I've had since I was a child. I was diagnosed with Keratosis Pilaris a number of years ago, which is basically the inability to properly shed your skin. This condition produced red pimple-like bumps all over my arms from the elbows up, down the sides of my waist and upper legs. As a child and young lady I never went sleeveless or exposed that area of my arms as I was so embarrassed. The dermatologist prescribed different creams which never worked and always seemed to have a nasty smell to boot!

So I began to check labels on soaps and lotions and like most labels I couldn't pronounce more than half the ingredients!
So, I headed to the nearest Hobby Lobby in search of the glycerin melt & pour soap and some molds....and well, as you can see one thing lead to another.

I'm happy to say my Keratosis Pilaris is in check as well as my husbands terrible eczema problems he had.

In our busy day-to-day life we often put aside the finer things, like a simple bar of extraordinary soap. But a natural fragrant, creamy, bubbly, soothing handmade bar of soap is a simple pleasure that creates a feeling of relaxation and of being pampered, as well as, supporting a chemical free ecosystem and healthy skin.
