I also make prayer crosses out of gemstones. My signature prayer crosses are created with solid goldstone beads. I love working with goldstone beads because these beads have a unique property that speaks to my spirituality.
Goldstone always has a subtle shimmer running through, much like the constant flow of our Lord's presence in our life. In some instances, for example in direct sunlight, goldstones illuminate with a beautiful, bright intensity and shine. For me, this speaks to the exceptional moments in our lives where His presence and protection are positively impacting us. The crosses feel good to hold, due to the nature of their construction. I have given crosses to family and they tell me that holding the cross during times of prayer and introspection is soothing.
I can create these beautiful crosses out of just about any gemstone bead. As you look through the pictures, you will see how the crosses can be embellished with contrasting stones. I love to make them!
