In every piece we use mortise and tenon joinery, one of the oldest and most durable ways of joining wood. We don’t have an assembly line. A single craftsman makes each piece, from rough lumber, to finished product, by hand. This method of production is rewarding for the maker, and ensures that each piece is expertly crafted, through each step of the building process.

Every piece is built to order from our catalog of furniture; You choose a wood, a stain, and fabric- We will then build your furniture, and finish it off with an oil/varnish mixture, waxed and hand rubbed to a beautiful satin sheen.

Mariah Wren graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2004, with a BFA in furniture design. In 2006, she and her husband Mark Cooper founded Wren & Cooper Furnishings. Our basic philosophy is that a truly good design never goes out of style. We strive to create timeless pieces that our customers will cherish, enjoy, and pass on for generations.
