With another building 6' way, this client wanted to let in all the light without really "seeing" their neighbors. These 3 layer windows completely capture the attention of one's gaze. Adapting a Byzantine pattern, I divided it into 2 layers and carved them into the outside panes. The middle layer is sandblasted through a screen to create more depth and softness as best illustrated in the detail. It is triple glazed for extra energy efficiency.
