This carved sink and the counter tops were done for our cabin. The sink was chainsaw carved from cherry and the bathroom countertop was made from mesquite. The natural edge was left, showing the yellow sapwood for a mountain feel. The mesquite had some burl on one end and turquoise was inlayed into the natural cracks. The kitchen countertop was made from two book matched natural slabs of mesquite as well. They spanned 14ft in length with incredible figure. A marine finish was applied to the counters and the sink, to ensure they would sustain all the usage and water.
