  • Here is the rendering v-1 which is closet to the last sketch. Everything will be much softer in the actual silver.Rounded edges and such, also the low areas would be darkened not shown in the rendering. I am also adding one new idea, moving the key handle up to the sides of the heart. This one v-2 would be stronger and possible more comfortable. It may cost a little more being heavier. If you approve one of these the next step is to make the wax pattern of which I will post images of. v-2 group

  • Everything is going well, here are some images of the raw casting, the black is oxidation which is how it comes out after quenching the casting in water, the white is after a mild acid bath,to remove the black oxidation, also know as pickle. The quality of the casting is excellent. I am in the polishing/finishing stage. The next images will be of the final pieces. Stay tuned, coming soon raw casting shown with sprues and buttom.
